History
The first services of the Hermiston Methodist Church were held at the H.G. Newport residence in 1904.
In 1907, they moved services to the Newport-Skinner building on Main Street.

In 1909, the church moved to the bungalow church on 3rd Street between Gladys and Ridgeway. This location later became the parsonage, which was used as such until the 1940’s.

In 1920, they began building the church at the current location 191 E. Gladys Ave. A fellowship hall was added in 1967. Davis Hall was remodeled in the early 1990’s. At that time, they remodeled the kitchen and installed an elevator, which has been improved and is working today.
